Pushing away

I’m constantly pushing people away, I guess it’s because after getting fucked over by a couple so called ‘friends’.. It’s hard to trust people again. I don’t know who to trust anymore and it’s scary. How do I know who is a true friend or who is just using me like the rest of them?
